Bower Building Project: Bespoke Joinery for a Multi-Floor Office Fit-Out

Project Location: Old Street, London
Project Scope: custom joinery across three floors

The Bower Building project was a full-scale commercial fit-out, bringing together bespoke joinery and carefully selected materials to create a workspace that is both functional and visually striking. Spanning three floors, this project required a detailed approach to ensure every element complemented the overall design. Working closely with the client, we crafted:

  • Reception desks – built for durability, with a refined finish for daily use

  • Tea point island – blending practicality with high-quality materials for a welcoming space

  • High bench tables – a modern combination of timber and metal, designed for collaborative working

  • Bespoke metal and timber shelving – smart storage solutions that balance structure and style

  • Banquette seating – upholstered in Dekoma Charles fabric to bring comfort and sophistication

To achieve a cohesive and contemporary feel, we selected oak-veneered MDF with a clear lacquer, valued for its natural warmth and longevity. This was complemented by Egger laminate and mild steel, creating a balance of textures that add depth and character to the space. Every piece was crafted to not only meet the practical needs of a busy office but also contribute to an environment that feels well-designed, warm and welcoming.

A big thank you to Whitepaper for choosing us to collaborate on this project - it was a pleasure to bring this project to life.
